The Municipality of Parma participated in SIMPLA integrated capacity building package (training and coaching), starting the training phase in June 2017 with a SEAP dating back to May 2014 with the first monitoring completed in March 2017 and a SUMP of 2017. The City intends to develop a SECAP. During the coaching phase a full harmonization process was conducted on the strategic energy and mobility plans, following the SIMPLA methodology. At the end of the harmonization process, the following documentation was handed over to the Municipality of Parma: - Comparative analysis of the databases used by SEAP and SUMP; - Comparative analysis of the actions contained in SEAP and SUMP; - SEAP revised and updated; - SUMP reviewed and updated; - Harmonization report, complete in all its parts. The Municipality of Parma, having taken note of the harmonization process conducted according to the methodology promoted by the SIMPLA project and implemented by the harmonization team appointed by the Municipality itself with the support of the Area Science Park coaches, undertakes to follow up the results achieved and to undertake the steps necessary to update and develop your own SEAP and SUMP in such a way that they are harmonized with each other and with the main regulatory instruments and reference planners. The internal procedures for managing the plans will ensure that they, thus aligned, continue in their implementation while maintaining the alignment and harmonization obtained. The Administration will take reference, among other available tools, to the self-assessment questionnaire prepared by the SIMPLA project for the updating and continuation of the harmonization process.
